Day 10 – Dry Fruit & Coconut Ladoo



The 10th day calls for sweetness that lingers — and what better than Dry Fruit & Coconut Ladoo. Rich with roasted nuts, dates and coconut, these little spheres are bite-sized celebrations. Naturally sweetened with dates, fragrant with cardamom, and rolled in coconut flakes, they are satvik yet indulgent.

What make this a navratri fasting recipe perfect for the final day is its energy — nourishing, festive, and so easy to share. Every ladoo is a reminder that fasting food can feel like mithai from temple, pure and joyful.

Ingredients (makes 8 ladoos)

Process

  1. Heat ghee in a pan, add chopped almonds cashews and pistachios. Roast lightly till golden.
  2. Add chopped dates and sauté till they soften and blend with nuts.
  3. Mix in grated coconut and cardamom powder. Stir well until mixture come together.
  4. Let it cool slightly, then shape into small ladoos. Roll each in extra grated coconut.
  5. Serve fresh or store in airtight jar for 3–4 days.

Sweet, nutty, and naturally energising — a satvik ladoo to end Navratri on the most festive note.
